On Thursday, July 21, 2016 our island home was devastated by news that a fire had broken out in the city centre on Front Street. The fire destroyed a beloved local staple, Onion Jack’s, our neighbouring property and greatly damaged several Front Street businesses – notwithstanding our own home office.

Thankfully, we can confirm that there was no injury to any of our team members and all of our client data and information is safe. The Freisenbruch-Meyer Building, 75 Front Street, sustained smoke and water damage. We immediately enacted our Disaster Recovery Plan and were able to get Freisenbruch-Meyer’s temporary office set up and fully operational as of 9am the next day (Friday July 22, 2016).

Our dedicated staff will be on hand to assist you with your insurance needs in our temporary office at Chubb (located at 17 Woodbourne Avenue). We will continue to maintain regular office hours 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.
